About Collins Incense
Collins is a Korean brand named after the astronaut and pilot Michael Collins (the one who stayed on the spaceship during the 1969 moon landing, orbiting the moon while Armstrong and Aldrin explored the surface).
Alone up there in space, he said he felt liberated, calm and at peace – this is what the brand considers a “Collins moment”, the kind of moment they seek to facilitate with their lifestyle products
How is it made?
Collins Incense is made using a traditional Korean method known as “Sun-hyang”, an old-fashioned technique that does not use a bamboo core. Instead, natural wood and aromatic oils are carefully blended, extruded in a noodle-like form, and slowly dried to create a refined incense stick.
This traditional process removes the use of synthetic materials, adhesives and chemical binders, resulting in a purer burn and a softer, more natural fragrance experience.
Their Korean style incense sticks are made from harmless natural ingredients that produce less soot and smoke than traditional incense
